Kim has served the Board of Directors for two years and spent time in country in 2013. She is based in Philadelphia and serves on the fundraising committee.
Matthew Weissberg

Matt joined the Board in 2014 and led the strategic planning process, managing a team of experienced sport-for-development professionals from across the country, soon after getting involved. He is based in Pittsburgh with his wife and two boys.
Sylvia Nanji, MPA
Professional Certified Coach, New Balance Coaching at Nanji and Associates
“Mama” Sylvia, as she is affectionately known, has been on the Board for two years and serves as the liaison to the Cameroonian Community in Pittsburgh. She lives outside the city and while on retirement and active grandmother of four.
Peter Johnson
Sr. Director, Strategic & Cross-Solution Marketing, SAP
Peter joined the board in 2015 and is supporting in a dual role as secretary and Marketing committee lead, supporting the organization in some re-branding initiatives and working to improve the messaging. He lives in Pittsburgh with his wife and two children.
Martell Covington
Program Coordinator, The African American Leadership Institute, Community Empowerment Association
Martell has been involved with CFDP since the early days. He served on the Taste of Africa committee and fundraising committee and is actively involved with our young supporters in Pittsburgh.
Hector Tantoh
Global Account Manager, WESCO
Hector has served on the board for three years. He serves as our cultural liaison, providing context to human resources practices. He moved to the U.S. from his native Cameroon when he was 16 years old and went to university and graduate studies here. Formerly based in Pittsburgh, he is now living in Las Vegas.
Tim Patterson
Sr. Consultant, FedEx Ground
Tim joined the board in late 2014 and has become actively involved in our strategic partnerships and serves as the chair of the fund development committee. Tim is a long-time resident of the Pittsburgh-region and an avid traveler.
Ghejung Awunti
Global IT, Mylan
Ghejung joined the board in 2014 and is responsible for strategic planning and partnerships in Cameroon. He has extensive travel and work experience and is a native to the Northwest Region of Cameroon. He lives outside of Pittsburgh with his wife and three children.
